BENTLEY III BUMPER CHASSIS Front shock dampers - we attach hereto photograph showing the damaged shock damper parts removed from the above chassis. This failure has evidently been caused by the collapse of the rebound buffer, which then allowed the piston to come into contact with the bottom of the piston bore in the shock damper casing. It is understood that Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} is looking into this, and is producing a scheme for a stop, which will limit the travel of the piston when the chassis is in the rebound position.
