RE. DUNLOP STEEL ARTILLERY WHEELS.

We have been continuing our tests with these wheels.

We have, however, criticised the shape of the spokes and
Messrs. Dunlop have agreed to modify them. They have promised
to send us their new proposal in the few days.

We are also anxious that R.{Sir Henry Royce} shall have an opportunity
of seeing these wheels before we standardise them. We are
therefore arranging to take one of them to W.W. on our next
visit which we anticipate will be the end of this week.

Immediately we are satisfied with this wheel we will
issue standardisation sheets.
