I am in receipt of your two memos of 13th and 19th August, dealing with Bonnets, from which I note that Louvres are to be entirely discontinued.

In view of our recent experiences out here, you can imagine my feelings and I must confess to a very considerable amount of apprehension regarding the future of our cars here if this is done.. However the powers that be have made the decision and I suppose are prepared to take the responsibility. At the same time it is up to me to advise you, as I am doing, that I anticipate trouble, and not without good reason.

I quite understand the reasons for this alteration, having experienced trouble with petrol in the vacuum tank on one occasion, but strange to relate, this was in England and not in Australia.
