Please receive herewith 2 blue prints of the following:- SCD.1456. Suggested method of casting/oil passage holes in Twin Valve Shock Damper. The casting is to be produced in cast iron to the rough pattern made by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm{D. D. Clapham}, and the pipes built up as shown on the above scheme. Approximately 15" of .250 i/dia, and 8" of .1875 o/dia piping will be required in S/D.2031B quality- 18 SWG(.048) thick. The above is an effort to eliminate costly drillings which appear on the Twin Valve Shock Damper. Attached to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm{D. D. Clapham}'s and RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/Vs{J. Vickers} copy is a blue print of SCD.1456. (signature) Ald{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} | ||
