Attention of Mr. C.T.Salt
Dear Sirs,
Many thanks for your letter dated November 5th, confirming Mr. Salt's conversation with the writer, regarding weight of 3.250" bore pistons.
We are proceeding with modifications to the Core Box, as requested, and will produce 7 pistons, as soon as possible.
Concerning the 2.50" diam piston, we have much pleasure in submitting, herewith, a print of the proposed casting drawing, and shall be glad to learn if this meets with your approval.
Upon receipt of your instructions, we will proceed with the necessary foundry equipment, and meanwhile shall be glad to receive a machining drawing, to enable us to produce the 36 pistons as requested.
These pistons would be machined, by us, up to form grinding, which operation we understand you prefer to conduct at your works.
Kindly address your reply to 68 Liverpool Road, Trading Estate Slough, Bucks.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO. LTD.
W.P. Riley
Research Department.
