Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X177r. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3/KW19:12:33; Mr. Smith of the Ford Motor Co., whom I believe met you when you went to Dagenham, rang up this morning to know whether he could come to the Works on Thursday of this week. You will recollect that he has been very good to us in giving us all the information that they have on Texolite timing gears, and silence generally, and also lent us their Lincoln car to run on six cylinders. Mr: Smith is also giving me introductions to the technical people at Lincoln's, and which I think will be valuable, as this engine is the closest approach to the proposed SpectreCodename for Phantom III that is in production to-day. Will you please say if you agree, and if you can meet Mr. Smith. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
