J.N. Longley, Esq.,
Chief Chemist,
Messrs. Ferodo Limited,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Dear Mr. Longley,

I understand that there are certain matters concerning brake drum materials that you would like to discuss with Mr. Hall.

Mr. Grylls and myself would be very pleased if you would come over here one day (at about 12.30 p.m.) and lunch with us, and afterwards hold a discussion with Mr. Hall and Mr. Bailey, the chief of our production Drawing Office, or his metallurgist, Mr. Marriot.

We would be interested to hear your opinions of the "Brimal" iron of which you have the photomicrographs.

I should be glad if you would let me know what day you will come.

Please accept our best wishes for the New Year.

Kind regards,

Yours very truly,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED .
