Herewith we send N.sch.2836 shewing the revised framed instruments containing the K.S. gauge and the green lamp. We have inserted the latter in spite of the fact that it may be used because it is easier to take it out than put it in.

The K.S. gauge is standard except for some slight modifications to the fixings which no doubt you will take up with Hobsons.

All the other instruments are as now except for slight changes in the positions of the pips on the flanges.

We have also shewn on the drg. the suggested marking on the knob of the shutter controls. We should like Derby to verify that this is the best position and size for the marking. We also indicate the modified flange for both this and the starter button.

It will be seen that we have altered the material of the outer frame from alum. to brass so that we can thin it down. We suggest the joint can be sweated or possibly hard soldered.

We are sending you under separate cover a model of the K.S. gauge which Hobsons have kindly lent to us. When you have finished with it will you please return it to them in London.
