x560 S/W. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} GUL-82- London Trials. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}12/KW9.6.36. This engine is very lumpy when idling with the car standing, and no movement of the throttle and ignition levers effects any improvement with the engine running at slow speed. It is a point which I feel will be criticised by people if cars are delivered to them with this undesirable feature. This car has run, I think, sufficiently now to have settled down, and I suggest you might like to have a look at it or detail someone to do so to see if you can effect any improvement, as at present it is not a standard which I think we ought to accept.
