The Cadillac Motor Car Company,
Detroit,
Michigan, U.S.A.

Dear Mr. Seaholm,

I was very sorry to miss you when I left Detroit.

Thank you very much indeed for the delightful hospitality extended to me by the Cadillac Motor Car Company. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and am most impressed with the progress you are making.

I should like to congratulate you on the independent wheel springing job which you and Olley have successfully launched, and consider that this is the best development which has been put over in the industry for many years.

Thank you very much for sending on the silent tappet drawings.

We had a delightful trip back, in sunshine.

We are looking forward to seeing some of the General Motors people in England before long, and I know you will advise me when they are coming so that I can make sure they are looked after by our Company whenever this is possible.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
