Billing discrepancy with Ferodo Ltd. over an order for five brake liners that were supposed to be free of charge.

Further to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}4/AP.13.5.37, instructing for an order to be issued to Ferodo Ltd., for five items of Brake Liners in M.L. quality.

An order was issued by Roy{Sir Henry Royce} on the 15th. May, the number being 41344 and in accordance with your memo, the order was marked "These Liners are not to be charged for."

We have an invoice from Ferodo Ltd., for these Liners, but they are charged at:-

G54541 1/3 3/4d. each
G54542 9 1/2d. each
G54143 1/2 1/4d. each
G55006 1/1d. ea.
G56921 2/8 1/2d. each.

We pointed out that in our opinion we should not be called upon to pay for these Liners, but they reply as per copy letter attached.

Will you please investigate and let us have your comments concerning same.
