RE CHASSIS PISTON.

With reference to the chassis pistons which have just been instructed for 1000 sets, will you please instruct that castings only should be produced and that no machining should be done except for six sets. This is due to the fact that certain modifications have been made to this piston which have not been tried experimentally and Mr. Hives is of the opinion that until his report is received machining of the pistons should be held up.
