THE GREAT DUEL IN THE R.A.C. T.T. RACE BEGINS

The sight that brought 3,000 people to their feet. Bryan de Grineau's impression of the Hon. Brian Lewis (Lagonda) overtaking E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hall (Bentley) opposite the stands on the 25th lap—one of the most thrilling moments in the race, and which saw the beginning of a ding-dong struggle that lasted until Lewis's tyres gave out on the 33rd lap.
