I note a difficulty has arisen in regard to gearboxes which will necessitate a modification of design and to make the bits will present a good deal of difficulty.

I do not see any reason why you should not have any gearboxes which may be in the Corniche cars. I will find out how many gearboxes there are in the various chassis we have and let you know.

I note that the one Barclay is now running ought to have its gearbox replaced.
I quite agree there is no reason at all why Jack Barclay should have more than one B-V.{VIENNA} As a matter of fact it looks very much as if he will never be able to finish the body off. He has got a big Government contract which is as much as he can tackle in his small works.

I note you think that when Breedon and Devereux have their cars running there will be sufficient on the road for the present; in fact this will be as many as we can keep on the road. You have not mentioned in your list the one owned by Capt. Woolf Barnato, and also our Trials car.
Without reckoning on Barclay completing his new car (which, by the way, is Young of Bromley and not Mulliners) there would actually be 7 cars in use.
