Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter of the 14th inst., reference ABDR/MB., re Dichlorethylene.

Previous information had led us to expect that the freezing point would be much lower than the figure stated, also its low flash point would be dangerous in connection with the particular work for which the information was requested.

Trichlorethylene will be much more suitable for our requirements, but we would have preferred a freezing point between - 120°C. and - 150°C.
