NEW HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPERS.

The hydraulic shock dampers have been modified in design, as compared with those illustrated in Figs. 26 and 27, and the description and instructions given on pages 92 and 93 no longer apply.

All four dampers are now similar. Each is provided with a filling plug, and the only attention necessary is inspection of the oil level every 10,000 miles, as described on pages 90, 91, and 144. The same precautions regarding cleanliness must be carefully observed, and only Wakefield's Castrol "F" oil should be used for filling.

No adjustment is provided on the damper connections, as described on page 94, the spring loading rendering this unnecessary.
