[Handwritten]: 1280- 28th September 1937 Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.2/AP. Messrs Price's Lubricants Ltd., Belmont Works, Battersea, LONON S.W.11. For the attention of Mr.Brooke Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 3rd. inst., the reports which our Laboratory have given us on the subject of glycerine for anti-freeze purposes do not lead us to encourage the use of it in our engines. We are, however, running several cars this Winter with your Zero anti-freeze in the water systems and when sufficient experience has been accumulated, will decide whether we can alter our recommendations on this subject. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
