1153 PLEASE REPLY DIRECT TO "ORMIDALE" THE AVENUE, HATCH END, MIDDX. 'PHONE: HATCH END 1221 Overdrive Gears Ltd., DIRECTORS A.C.WICKMAN. WALTER JENKS. C. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} GAY. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} de NORMANVILLE. 76, VICTORIA STREET, LONDON, S. W. 1. TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAMS VICTORIA 6291 EN/KA 1st March, 1939. S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Grylls, The problem which we discussed on Thursday last, has presented some difficulties, but I thank you for the viewpoints expressed, and in deference to them, I have revised our proposed schedule of royalties so as to fit in with quality car production as well as quantity; by making the different volume stages occur earlier than we had previously intended. As a result of this investigation, I am now prepared to advise my Board to agree to the appended schedule of royalties, and feel sure that your Company will concurr with its reasonableness. The total literage would be the basis for payment; two payments annually, the second being an adjustment payment. The Schedule is as follows:- 1 to 1,000 litres @ 12/6 per litre. 1,001 to 3,000 " " 10/- " 3,001 to 5,000 " " 7/6 " 5,001 to 10,000 " " 6/- " Over 10,000 " " 5/- " With personal regards, and appreciation of your own and your Company's interest in our mechanism, believe me to remain, Yours sincerely, OVERDRIVE GEARS LIMITED.
