To HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}: from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " EFC. ORIGINAL D 6 EX 2 RECEIVED 9 JUN. 1920 X.D/G8/6/20. X.3923. RE CHASSIS 6 EX. If the matter has not already gone too far, I should prefer the paint on this car to be a simple grey made of black and white, instead of the slightly Portland cement grey handed to you. You will remember the Portland cement grey had a certain amount of brown in it. It was what might be called a warm grey, and in addition to the black and white, probably contained a slight amount of yellow and red colouring matter. I think it would be as well to avoid a blue grey, as it is so very likely to go green. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
