For the attention of Mr.Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

New type Jacks.

We have pleasure in advising you of the despatch under separate cover of the following sample Jacks.

1. 6 1/2" Double Lift Jack (9" lift)
1. 5" Triple Lift Jack (8 1/2" ")

We will advise you of the approximate price of each in the course of a few days, but it will be obvious to you that the Double Lift Jack will be cheaper.

The writer will be pleased to call on you when you have had an opportunity of carrying out your tests.

We have found it literally bordering on the impossible to retain the standard head on the Triple Lift Jack, and it is doubtful whether the only way in which we have succeeded in doing this on the sample will prove a practical commercial method.

The chief difficulty is that unless we retain the full inside diameter of the sleeve all the way through it is impractical to put a proper stop on the outer screw. The retaining of this diameter forecasts the need for a larger top.

Yours faithfully,
FOR DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.
