Dear Mr. Robotham, I have meant once or twice to write you since our friend Olley returned to the States because he was quite anxious that I should keep in touch with you (as indeed I am) and perhaps we can be mutually useful to one another in connection with the activities of our respective Companies. At any rate I should like very much if you are agreeable to have a chat with you sometime when you are in town, about things in general, and therefore if you could possibly spare the time to have lunch with me during one of your visits to town I should be very glad. I am now venturing to worry you in connection with a specific enquiry of Olley's that has just arrived by cable, reading as follows:- "Chick extremely interested coach work detail Olympia stop I have no interior pictures stop examples Park Ward auxiliary seat plus footrest Thrupp Maberly Bentley interior trim etc. stop believe we may place some order English coach builders if can sell idea here stop Can you obtain variety of pictures thru Evernden of Rolls or otherwise stop also send Park Ward cloth trimmed rear seat cushion suitable Cadillac with construction used on Bentley" I have not the pleasure of knowing the Mr. Evernden referred to so I am wondering if you will be good enough to ask him if he can help us in connection with the information requested by Olley. "Chick" mentioned at the commencement of the cable is the Sales Manager of Cadillac in case you didn't know it. | ||
