X.3445. RE REGULATORS FOR STOVES IN WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town OFFICES.

We send you herewith a drawing LeC.1054 shewing a design for a cut-off valve to be fitted on to the flues of the two "Salamandre" anthracite stoves that we use in the offices at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town.

Would you kindly provide us with two sets of the material as shewn.

Before finally shaping up the snout for fitting on to the nose pieces of the stoves, you will require more exact information than we give you on the drawing. We therefore propose, as soon as we are able to let these stoves cool down, to send you cardboard templates of the exact shape, and also the measured peripheries. In the meantime, however, the details of the valve can be instructed.

Would you kindly put this work in hand.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
