Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Jones, Research Dept.

With reference to your enquiry of today re. Rubber Bush No. F.55858.

This bush has a fixed compression length in position of 1.225 when we require it to exert a load of 125 lbs.

We attach a small sketch shewing the position in which this block is used.

It will be observed that it holds the body subframe to the main frame.

Under exceptionally bad road conditions we expect that a load equal to two or three pounds may momentarily be thrown up on to the rubber.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
