Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 9th instant, reference as above, we ask you to be good enough not to insist on the immediate return of the tank lenting us for testing and adjusting the O.S. Petrol Gauge to suit it, for the following reasons:- Our Paris factory have informed us that they have just completed several improvements in the Gauge which will make it stronger and its use and fitting more practical. Our Managing-Director has gone to Paris to discuss this question with the Manufacturers, Messrs. Ateliers Seignol. We should therefore be much obliged if you could wait a little longer so as to give us every opportunity of preparing carefully the instrument in which you are interested. We know that our Managing-Director, on his return to London, intends going to Derby himself to explain and demonstrate to you how to fit and use the gauge correctly. Contd............ | ||
