(2) (9) The joints of the inlaid work in some cases were not good. (10) We were sorry that the front finishers were not made as symmetrically with the window lift handle as the focus. (12) The black inlay of the interior handles had a very ragged edge. It will be appreciated that we do not tell you of these features wholly as a complaint, but because we believe you would wish to know of them. We have arranged to cure items (2), (4), (7), and (8) ourselves, but Derby will have consulted you if they have had need to do so. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS ROYCE LTD. (DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}) HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ____ Do you propose letting Park Ward have the car to deal with (4), (7), and (8), or can youdo it. I believe they still think R.{Sir Henry Royce} went off in it to France - the reason we gave for delivery up to time. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
