To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X7772 At Derby. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/LG13.3.29. L.H. 'SS{S. Smith}' HAND BRAKE LEVER. As done originally, the trigger operation on the L.H. hand brake lever has a small dumbell shaped piece for making the connection between the press button and the rod running through the lever, so that it would turn through the angle of the handle. We have suggested on N.sch.2848 that this dumbell shaped piece might be replaced by a sphere at the end of the trigger rod and that this would make the assembly easier.
