1113. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}6/R.12.4.37. TWO-WAY PETROL SWITCHES. Reports of three failures have come from Lillie Hall. None from Cricklewood. L. Evans had the switches taken off and sent them to Archer. They could not see or find any reason for the failure. Two of the switches are now in By's office. I have had a look at them, and can-not see any reason why they should have failed. The blades are not as centrally set as they should be, but the contact appears to be good. I have brought a switch taken out of Kingsbury stock which has been incorrectly assembled. One of the pump contacts has no off position, therefore, that side would always be switched on.
