To Mr. Brock.

EFC3/T2.10.28.

20 H.P. PRODUCTION DYNAMO.

We are returning this machine to you, but regret that we have inadvertently just attained a temperature of the machine at which the commutator solder has been thrown - which temperature, compared with our previously cumulative experience of the greatest temp. at which the solder was thrown, appears to have been lower than expected, and rather suggests an enquiry as to whether the solder at present being used is of somewhat lower melting point than previously. Perhaps you would look into this point.

In regard to the performance of the machine, our completion of which the throwing of the solder did not prevent, we found this to be O.K. in all respects with the one slight exception that the control brush spring pressure is slightly high.

EFC.
