Your ref: HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA (Handwritten large letters: WST) Dear Sirs, Adverting to your letter of the 2nd instant in which you informed us that the Plug required must be similar in construction to the K.L.G. type 744 which you had used successfully, we at once sent an order to Messrs. K.L.G. for a Plug of this type but up to now we have not received delivery. We therefore do not know the characteristics of this type K.L.G. Plug. We need hardly say we are always anxious to co-operate with you to the fullest extent and to submit to you any product we make for test at your request. In this particular instance, however, we do not really know what to submit to you. We make many types of Aero Plugs and in order to avoid you testing unsuitable patterns we should be obliged if you would let us know the characteristics of the Plug which you consider most suitable for this particular engine. We understand that the K.L.G. Plug type 744 has been evolved to meet the characteristics of this particular engine. Would you therefore kindly give us as exhaustively as you possibly can the characteristics of the Plug which will best suit your engine and if one of our Standard aero Plugs complies with these conditions we will immediately submit same to you.
