Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Childs.
Experimental Department.

Following on the visit of our Mr.
H.C.Taylor, to your Works on Thursday last, on
the subject of defective Bulbs, which you mentioned
in your letter of the 15th inst. Also on the question
of the voltage Regulators which was discussed.

Mr.Taylor brought back with him the
sample R.R.1. Regulator referred to in your letter
of the 15th. This has now been re-set at 15.8 volts
cold, and the following figures were taken on a bench
test with the resistance load.

Current at 13.5 volts through A1 17.5 amps)
" " 15.5 " " A 6.5 " )

This Unit is being returned to you today,
under separate cover, marked for your attention, and in
view of the fact that the six R.R. Units which were built
up from components from the moulds and tools which were
duly despatched to you on the 26th October last, had not
been received in your Department last week. We should be
glad to hear that this Unit which we are now returning
has been received by you personally.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED
