Following on the visit of our Mr. H.C.Taylor, to your Works on Thursday last, on the subject of defective Bulbs, which you mentioned in your letter of the 15th inst. Also on the question of the voltage Regulators which was discussed. Mr.Taylor brought back with him the sample R.R.1. Regulator referred to in your letter of the 15th. This has now been re-set at 15.8 volts cold, and the following figures were taken on a bench test with the resistance load. Current at 13.5 volts through A1 17.5 amps) " " 15.5 " " A 6.5 " ) This Unit is being returned to you today, under separate cover, marked for your attention, and in view of the fact that the six R.R. Units which were built up from components from the moulds and tools which were duly despatched to you on the 26th October last, had not been received in your Department last week.
