re Bentley and 20/25.

It is interesting to note how on the Bentley failures occur with parts which are standard on the 20/25. The examples we have in mind are as follows:-

(1) Pistons breaking up.
We have developed an improved piston for the Bentley.

(2) Gudgeon pin fixing failing.
The circlips will not run at high speeds and have been replaced by pads on Bentley.

(3) Flywheel fixing coming loose.
This has been considerably strengthened now on Bentley.

(4) Con Rod Oil pipes breaking.
We have doubled the number of clips pro tem, and have drilled rods in hand for introduction as soon as possible.

All these parts which failed on Bentley are still in use on the 20/25, with the exception of No.4, which we are altering forthwith, but in the normal course of events any improvements obtained in this way will be adopted generally where they are applicable. The breed will thus be improved by our development of a sporting chassis.
