It will be seen that the width of 1.B.5. body at the base of the steering wheel is almost equal to that of P.III and Wraith and therefore we might not wish to widen the body.

We could put a remote control on the door lock and so bring the handle into a convenient position. Such a feature has been deleted from our cars of recent years on the grounds of weight and expense.

The third alternative would be to move in the steering column to 10.500 from the centre of the car.

It is possible to widen the bonnet at the rear and the scuttle by .250" a side as well, but this might have the effect of making the car look stub nosed.

A decision is needed on this matter as we are about to build a second body.
