Contd. -8- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T6.12.20. For this and other reasons, such as reduced range of operation between hot and cold, we consider this cut-out a more reliable and a better instrument generally than the Lucas cut-out at present in use, and probably quite equal in performance to any results we are likely to obtain from the Smith type. [Handwritten in left margin, crossed out: X.1723] The weight of the instrument is 1 lb. 3 ozs. We are sending this cut-out to Mr. Royce under separate cover, as we think he would like to examine its construction. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
