HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 07772 x7772 x7550 K4808 Y4682 To Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Horns for L.R.P.II Chassis. SgO/E4.9.30 I am inclined to agree your views expressed in Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}1/MJ.3.9.30, that is to say, fit CS-EX with the best type of English buzzer horn that we know and, if America do not like it and prefer their own, then you can agree when you are out there, to supply the 200 chassis without horns and we will give them an allowance in respect of their non-supply. I will advise you before you go as to what the allowance would be. How do we stand now in regard to clocks and speedometers for America? I believe they want an electric clock. Are we going to be able to meet their requirements? If so, what type? The same remarks also apply to the speedometer, and here again the position really is that, if they would rather supply their own to fit in to our batch scheme, I do not see any objection to giving them an allowance in respect of the non-supply.
