| X/053 Expl. Dept. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /ACL.3/MJ. March 13th.1930. The Zenith Carburetter Co.,Ltd., 40-42, Newman Street, LONDON. W.1. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 6th.inst. Owing to the urgency of other work we have not completed the induction system for your carburetter, but this is now on the way and we hope to be ready for a test in a week or so. We understand, from one of your earlier letters, that the carburetters with which you supplied us were only samples and not suited for engine tests. We are therefore returning these to you and will give you a separate order for one carburetter Type 105 D.C. fitted up to suit our engine. Particulars of the engine were given you in our letter of February 7th. When we start our tests we shall no doubt be pleased of the assistance of one of your experts. We are, Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
