-2- The automatic choke set-up as now used on the 1935 and 1936 Packard "120" cars has also proven very satisfactory. In accordance with our records, you have received the stocklists and drawings on these two installations and further detail specifications can be obtained from them. In the electric choke unit installation, the thermostat cools off considerably faster than with the set-up as on the Packard "120" where the thermostat is controlled by the exhaust manifold temperature. We have had these two types of automatic chokes in the field for a full year and neither one of them have given us any trouble. If we can be of any further assistance do not hestitate to call on us. Very truly yours, BENDIX PRODUCTS CORPORATION STROMBERG CARBURETTER DIVISION (Sgd.) E.O.Wirth Chief Engineer-Automotive Division. EOW/HC. | ||
