The Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co. Ltd.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

For the attention of Mr.Gollop.

Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letters of Sept. 24th. and Oct. 3rd., the tests made on your hose have simply consisted of running it on various experimental cars, and the conditions under which different hose connections have been run have not differed. We have previously obtained satisfactory service from your hose connections over a considerable period, and returned the defective hose to you as it had commended to perish after only a few months service.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
