Comparison of No.2 High Power Head and Standard Bentley for Constant detonation.

Gain over Standard.

R.P.M. 1000 1500 2000 2500 3000 3500 4000 4250 4500.

Max. power. 6.44% 7.3% 8.0% 8.26% 8.94% 12.4% 17.7% 21.7% 26.5%

6" debtn. 2.5% 5.3% 7.1% 7.7% 8.2% 11.6% 16.4% 19.5% 24.4%

The slight discrepancy in gain at high speeds is probably due to experimental error. It will be noted that power is almost back to normal at 2000 R.P.M., detonation on the high power head is however definitely worse than standard.
