Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/ML.5.3.40. Here is a copy of Olley's recent report of a visit to the Proving Ground, which contains some very useful information. With regard to insulating front suspension from road noises: as we pointed out at the Conference today, we are not so wedded to the Packard scheme that we think it is essential to use this on the Myth. We would be glad if Bastow could make an analysis of the scheme used on the Opel Kapitain and see how it comes out for weight and cost. | ||
