contd :- -2- I realise that in our methods of manufacture the corners are taken off these diagrams, but I think we might do something to help as well. In this case I think the mathematical expressions could be simplified. If both parts of the cam lift (i.e. acceleration and deceleration) were sinusoidal, we could get simpler expressions for total lift etc. as in the constant acceleration cam.
