It is suggested however that both the plunger springs and the spring for sideways location are unnecessarily strong. Petrol tank. We find that if the petrol tank is filled up to the top, which can easily happen, a flood of petrol comes out of the vent and spills over the tank. We think this may be considered dangerous. When luggage is fitted, the level indicator comes under the luggage grid. We suggest it could go closer to the rear cross member so that it can be seen between the luggage grid and the body. At present only a temporary dial is fitted to the petrol level indicator. The intention is to use white porcelain face and black letters. At present the dial is marked, disregarding the reserve compartment. In case of cars on the Continent, this may cause inconvenience because it will not show the correct amount for the octroi. Grouped instrument board. It is proposed to use instruments with a silver finish and black letters. Instrument board controls and shutters. These are the latest type made to arrgt. draw. E.73679. Auto vac tank. The auto vac tank and Klaxon horn brackets have been combined on this car. We do not think the tank is as nice as the cylindrical one, and as it overhangs the exhaust pipe one would anticipate it to get hotter. contd :- | ||
