NEW PEREGRINE UNIT.

We do not know the position of the crankshaft but for our experimental work we much prefer this unit to be a 4 1/8" stroke as a 4" stroke will only confuse our results. Of course we should like the crankshaft to have the R.R. 6-8 weight scheme, and the low inertia type of slipper wheel as instructed by Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 8.9.32.

Cylinder & Main Bearing Studs. Increased diameter.
Petrol Pump. Stroke increased to .250 R.R.sch.210 Silent Lec.3184 Pick up Bell crank.
Lubrication. Improved oil filling passages E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}27.8.32. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}31.8.32. C'case drilling, cross passage.
Camshaft. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}648. 104°. Two inlet cams. This has already been made.
Clutch. Latest modification including deletion of breather holes, flexible coupling etc.
Cyl. Head. To E.100520.
Rocker Pedestals. Deletion of overhang. Lec.3159
Shortened prop.shaft. N.sch. 3530. 3532.
Servo lining. Rad.13.
Shock dampers aluminium case ends to N.sch.3497. J.3. type.
Exhaust system to R.R.Sch.219.220.221.223.213.
Brake linkage to R.R.sch. 240. 241. 242. (Directly operated F & R.{Sir Henry Royce})
Axle control to R.R.sch.217.
Increased rear brake with R.R.sch. 235.
Deletion of pilot shoe. R.R.sch. 230.
