In a letter received from Rippon Bros. of Huddersfield this morning Mr. Rippon says that Mr. Hellyer, who had been loaned his Demonstration Bentley for three days, told him when returning the car that he would not on any account pay the price for a Bentley car owing to the noise which the brakes make at certain times.

Mr. Hellyer has bought a 20/25 h.p. R.R. instead.

Would you please let me know what I can reply to Mr. Rippon on this brake question, as he asks if there is any likelihood of the trouble being overcome in the near future.
