Dear Sirs,

for the attention of G.S.Sturrock,Esq.,

Thank you for your letter of the 7th. March referring to a thermostatically controlled pressure relief valve which you recently manufactured for us, and which was devised by our Mr. Edwards.

We are not quite clear why you suggest that the patent should be filed in the names of the two Companies.

We would suggest that it should really be patented in the name of Rolls Royce and Edwards.

Our people would doubtless be agreeable to letting you have the use of it for a niminal royalty.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS ROYCE. LTD.,
