COPY BY/JH23/P15.5.19. To Mr. Oldham. from BY/JH. re Ventilators The question of heat in the fore-part of the car has been continually before our notice. We recommend that ventilators should be fitted and a special note has been added to our Coachbuilders drawings to this effect. The Spinny pattern will have to be modified for Post-War practice and instead of the wheel being on top it will not have to be underneath the instrument board. At present we are unable to carry out the suggestions made in the last paragraph of your letter, dated May 13th, so that our only method of cooling the body is by pouring cold air into the fore-part of the body by means of the ventilator.
