Vauxhall - Grosvenor Limousine. ------------------------- We give below the particulars taken during the inspection of the above car: (1) The body is made by the Grosvenor Carriage Co. at their risk. (2) Frame - 6.000" deep along main section, thickness .140". 15.000 inches from front depth = 4.500". (3) Steering wheel bottom to centre of front wheels = 56.000"( B.50 - 67.000). Therefore to make Wraith 4 assuming the rear seat went back to the same position relative to the rear axle on the Vauxhall, we should need 11.000" in the wheelbase to have the same room in the rear compartment. We see we can go back more than this by 3.000" without raising the roof above 6 feet, i.e. 8.000" in wheelbase or 11' 6". (4) Division window to front of rear seat on Vauxhall = 34.500" and on Wraith III = 33.000" [Signature] Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
