necessary carburetter to work with the fuel pipe that in conjunction with an expanding carburetter of suitable design, the bringing into action of the larger pipe is automatically brought about by the expanding action of the carburettor. Having now particularly described and ascertained the nature of our said invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, we declare that what we claim is : 1. Carburetter fuel supply means for an internal combustion engine of an automobile in which there are provided more than one induction pipe serving the same cylinder, each induction pipe being con- trolled by its own throttle valve and the induction pipes being brought into operation successively by the opening of the throttle valves. 2. Carburetter fuel supply means as claimed in Claim No 1 in which there is a single carburetter of the expanding type having a single choke tube which serves all the induction pipes, each of which is provided with its own fuel supply jet. 7 | ||
