PETROL FILTERS. X4037
X3700

One reason for the trouble experienced with the filter on the 20 HP. is that the petrol we are getting on our 10,000 miles tests in France is exceedingly bad.

The filter is put there to get choked up if the petrol is sufficiently bad, rather than the carburetter because it is easy to clean.

We cannot understand your inference that the 40/50 filter did not get choked because it was reported no less than 5 times during the 10,000 miles test in France on 15-EX car.

You will note that we have standardised the Enots petrol filter which gives us more than 50% greater capacity of straining surface.

This was directly due to the frequency we found the Zenith filter had to be cleaned. It will be utilised on the production cars as soon as we can obtain supplies.
