20/25 HP. CHASSIS - B.2. SERIES MATERIAL.

With reference to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}5/M.16.6.33. we have discussed the matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and it is suggested that we should introduce the following modifications or improvements on the above series :-

(1). Marston Type Matrix.
(2). Spring drive in Clutch.
(3). Stiffer Crankshaft as used on 3½ Litre Bentley.
(4). Studs instead of bolts for securing main bearing caps in crankcase as used on 3½ litre Bentley.

It is also considered advisable to hold up the parts which would be affected by hand control device for the hydraulic shock dampers i.e. the end covers &c. of the dampers.

Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please issue standardisation sheets for Items 1 to 4, when we will release material for the new parts. In the meantime we are releasing material for all other units not affected by the above.
