1204. To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/AP.16.11.36. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} has handed to me the two attached oil-less bushes which he states has done 30,000 miles on a car without any appreciable wear. These were run by Kingsbury. It would appear this material is ideal for brake camshaft bearings or any other bearing which cannot easily be lubricated. If you know of any position where these can be usefully employed, will you please get hold of some and try it out. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
